Alex and I thought it best that we leave...soon. We told Ramsey we all had to go and soon. He was reluctant at first, but Ser promised to tell him about his uncle if he accompanied us for a while, he also promised training and the promise of warm shelter and food.
This worked. We gave ourselves a week to pack since Zach wont probably find us anytime soon and moving is just a precaution. He thinks we're in Moscow. Maria isn't so useless after all.
"Mary, I'm going out to get some money, do you want anything special?" I asked.
"No, I'm okay." she replied.
"Alright, I'll be back in a few days, I'm gonna go make a bloodtrail in a different city just in case."
And so I did. I hiked to the next city and attacked the rich family I found there. There were massive amounts of guys with guns. Oh fuck...I hit a mafia spot.
The men started shooting at me, and so I let them empty a few clips. I even fell over for the added effect.
And now for the fun.
And boom. I regenerated all of my limbs, snapped back up into the air, and hovered a few feet. Most of the fucking pussies dropped their guns and ran. I shot out a dark mist and wrapped it around each and every one of them.
"Ser, can we make them live through their worst nightmares?"
Ooh, you're getting very creative, I like this.
"Well then. Lets go for it."
And so it happened, every single person was consumed in their own nightmares, consumed with fear and hatred until they killed themselves. That was delightful. Ser looted all their pockets and took the cash and some guns for Alex. We then killed all the rich people inside the building, and had a good time doing it.
You would be correct in having figured out that was a Russian Mob heavy hitter's place.
"Ah, fuck it."
We returned home, and distributed the gifts.
"Stewart, we need to leave Russia if you keep hitting mob houses..." Alex was concerned.
"We'll be fine. Ser will take care of whatever we need to." I was too busy eating.
"Okay, so whats the game plan for this trip?" Ramsey walked in asking.
"Well, since Zach still thinks we're in Moscow, I figure we should go there first and see if he's on our trail. We have the disguises and I'm getting more comfortable with Ser's powers. From there we should take off back to the states to see what we've missed happening this past month." I replied.
"Okay, sounds good." Alex said.
Mary and I had another nice night, only to be disturbed by Alex running in and shaking me awake.
"Dude, we have a problem. I was at a bar, and I overheard these guys talking about the mob." He was frantic.
"So? People talk about the mob all the time, we're doing it right now as a matter of fact." I retorted groggily.
"Yeah, well, they put a hit out on you."
"How much?"
"1 billion, american"
"Holy fuck, that sounds like a lot."
"Oh, and get this, apparently a mysterious, orange clad, 'super'hero has been helping them with a turf war in Moscow."
"Turf war with who? Zach is helping the mafia?"
"Vampires. Apparently he is. But he has a vampire chick with him."
"Vampires? What the fuck? Does it bother you that a month ago we didn't even know magic was real and now two of us have super powers, I have a girlfriend, Ramsey has a magic sword and there are vampires in a turf war with the Russian Mob..?"
"Yes Stewart, the fact that you have a girlfriend bothers me in the greatest."
"Ha, well, okay, this is more reason to go to Moscow. We'll say I'm dead, pretend to be dead, wake up, kill them, take the money, get out and go back to Alabama." I said rolling back over, indicating that the conversation was over.
This just got a lot more complicated. We're going to have to make sure Zach still thinks we're in Russia. So we do this discretely, kill a mafia underboss and then take our money and go.
The next day we were packing the rest of our things. We were all deadly quiet.
"So what's been going on while we have been gone?" I asked.
"Well, I left a week and a half ago, but before that nothing much was happening. Everyone thought you guys were dead or transfered or something." Ramsey said.
"Damn..." Alex said in the corner, "no one fucking misses us."
Ramsey, your uncle was a good man. He was a strong man, and he had calves of steel. Literally. He and I fought as allies and as enemies.
"Wait, you were locked in a room for the past few hundred years, how'd you fight him?" Ramsey asked.
Well, he was about four hundred years old. After my downfall from Heaven, I realized I had indeed made the wrong choice, but Michael kept pursuing me even though I was content just to remain on earth. Your Uncle, after his birth, helped me evade Michael and regain all my powers. Unfortunately though, the tides turned against us and he had to side with Michael, trapping me inside that damned room. After that, he spent one night in it and told me that someday, someday I would be free, someday the right person would come along and share his mind and body with me and that when that day came, I would be hunted again.
"By him?"
Obviously not, he's dead.
"Hmm... Thanks Ser, you're not actually as evil as you seem." Ramsey seemed contented with this tidbit of information, and so as we finished packing we loaded up and headed back to Moscow.
I can't resist a fight.
Stewart, we cannot stay in Moscow for too long. Get the money and leave. Do it as quickly as possible.
And then we were off. Road trips were always so much fun.

Closing TIme Part 24
In other news.
The past few days I have been severely distracted by this very interesting site with a nice collection of hilarious and usually new pictures and videos and pretty fun online flash games. Definitely worth checking out, I've currently been through about 60 pages of posts.

No Ordinary Contest .... Part 23
I have to admit the fight was quite intense. After about 20 minutes though I just couldn't take it. The noise got to me, listening to 2 guys grunt for that long gave me nausea. I went to another room. Stewart's spirit has this thing hot as a sauna, without the moisture. I'm basically walking around this place naked. Neither Stewart nor Mary have said anything so I'm guessing they either look the other way or just don't mind. Ramsey's recent arrival has been quite a surprise and puts me slightly off. He seems to be honestly lost and slightly confused but what is he doing in the same place as us. Out of the whole world ... here.
I walked back into the room after drinking a nice cup of tea and a smoke. Half an hour has passed since I left. I could still hear the unmistakable sounds of almost manly grunts. I decided to try and stay until they finished. My i-pod and headphones turned out to be a good help in this situation.
They finally finished and we had a good laugh and all high-fived each other.
I decided to leave the two to compare their figurative dick sizes and started packing up. Ramsey's presence is a good sign that it is time to find a new place. Going back right now seems useless. It has been too long since we left. I wonder if Zac is still following us. Maybe he emailed me or something ...... naw, but i do need to check that, I'll do that tomorrow before we leave.
Fuck I need to pack all this shit again. I need a drink.
I decided not to visit our figuratively well endowed protagonists.
The packing was done significantly faster than I expected, probably due to the fact that I have memorized the perfect positions for the games and consoles to allow for easy transportation .... I need to stop talking to myself.
After I finished packing I decided to go to a local internet cafe, I need another lan session.
I figured Zac had forgotten that email existed but apparently he's been emailing like 5 times every time he go an internet connection. Damn dude, he has seriously forgotten what it is like to work to find someone. This used to be a skill, now everyone twitters, pathetic. I decided to ignore the email, there were too many to read. I started researching different places that we could use as hide outs. After awhile I decided on a few favorites and made my way back to the sauna.
"Ok I found a few places."
"A few places for what?"
"We spent too much time here already, It is time for us to move to another place."
"I see. If you guys must leave in such a hurry, don't let me slow you down. I still have busineness to take care of here, but we can keep in touch and meet up later on."
"We're not leaving immediately. There are still a few things to finish."
"What will that be?"
"Were kind of broke."
"Already?"
"Don't look at me, I am not solely responsible for all those empty bottles."

How's this for a T-Shirt?
I was bored and thought this would be pretty cool to make. It wouldn't be all that hard really.

A Not So Pleasant Surprise. Part 22
It wasn’t the explanation so much that confused me, more the whole idea of what had happened since Alex, Stewart and Zach had left school. I still wasn’t even sure I’d gotten all of it by the time the two of them had finished explaining. All I knew for sure was that I didn’t like the idea of Ser being a part of Stewart, and I was worried about Zach, out there by himself. I was still struggling with the memories of my uncle, but with each passing moment I felt more in control, more synched with not only his memories but his abilities as well.
“So,” Stewart said. I was still getting used to his new eye.
“Yeah,” Alex said.
“Mmhmm.”
“So what’s with the sword?” Alex asked.
“I’m not really sure, actually. It was left to me by my uncle but I can tell already it’s no ordinary blade. There’s something… special about it.” I was avoiding Stewart’s gaze—There was something about it that made me very uncomfortable. Not just me, either—I could tell my uncle wouldn’t have liked Ser much at all. In fact, I almost felt like they knew each other.
I hesitated but only for a moment—this was too good an opportunity to pass up. “Did you know my uncle, Ser?”
“Yes,” he said.
“Can you… tell me about him?” I asked.
“If I had the time or the patience, maybe, but as it is I don’t care. I’ll tell you this—he was the best demon hunter who ever lived—the only man—before Stewart and his friends—to sleep in my former house and come out alive and well.”
I thought about that for a moment, and something inside me made me realize that he was telling the truth.
“So what can you do with that thing?” Stewart asked as he pointed toward the sword.
“I guess we can find out,” I said, and drew the sword from my back.
“I’ll provide you with practice, then,” Ser said. “First off, let’s see how hard you swing. Go ahead, hit Stewart with your sword.”
“…What?” I said.
“Seriously, dude, we got this,” Stewart said. “You’ll see.”
“I’m not going to cut you in half, Stewart.”
“Come on, Ramsey, don’t be a pussy.”
“I’m not a pussy! Fine, I’ll do it. Sorry, Stewart.” And I swung the sword with a precision I didn’t realize was possible. I slashed toward Stewart’s midsection faster than I’d ever moved before—I knew my uncle was taking over. Stewart was cleaved in two. There was no blood, though, but I could also tell something wasn’t right, based on the look on his face. There were choking sounds coming from his throat, and after far too long the two halves joined slowly back together.
“What the hell! Don’t do that to me!” I said.
“That wasn’t supposed to happen,” Stewart said, panting.
“There’s something… Unnatural about that sword… It’s power… It has some sort of antidemon charm on it. I was barely able to save us.” This was the first time I’d heard Ser’s voice uneven, almost scared.
“Told you guys it was a bad idea.” I said. They all laughed nervously, realizing how narrowly we had avoided disaster.
“Alright, no more of that, but I’m still intrigued by what you know.” Ser said. A sword appeared in Stewarts hand, apparently made of dark mist. “You two fight—and be careful not to kill each other.”
And we fought.
It was intense, our skills seemingly evenly matched. I was surprised by how quick Stewart was, but even more surprised by how fast I was moving, parrying and countering and moving like lightning. We both stopped after almost an hour of intense battle, neither one of us tired in the least.
I held out my hand to both him and Alex. "High fives all around!"

"A Fort is A Place of Safe" Part 21
Damn. I need some money. And some food. And some help. And a big block of chocolate. Time to work. I wander around until I notice a huge high school across a frozen lake. I skate across on my sword (like a giant ice skating blade... thing) to find out where the people party in Russia. When school lets out, I go up and inquire about the local night life.

I Don't Believe in Coincidences..... Part 20
"Who?"
"Ramsey." Alex was staring me dead in the face.
"Ser, can you track him?" I asked
No, he is masked somehow.
"Oh well shit. Why in the fuck is Ramsey here?"
"I don't know." Alex was still staring at me. "What do you want to do about it?"
"You're sure it was Ramsey?"
"Yeah. But he had a sword... He had a big sword."
"What the fuck does he have a sword for?"
"I don't know."
"I wonder if he's working with Zach."
Mary came in the room at that point.
"What's wrong with you guys? You look like you've seen a...well, you look weird," she said.
"A friend of ours is hanging around here..." I said.
"Zach?" she looked shocked.
"Um...no, a friend of ours from Alabama, I would have said Zach if it were him."
"Oh, well some people just say it with that inflection...I don't know, why is he here?"
"We don't know. Alex we're going to go find him. Ser, drop your disguise on us for a while."
"Are you sure we should do that?" Mary asked.
"You're not, you're going to stay here, I don't want a fight to break out and you be in the middle of it."
So we left. We went to the bar Alex saw him around and Alex went inside to ask if they'd seen him since. I was standing outside thinking why he could be here. I was wearing jeans and a small hoodie, people were staring at me strangely, but I had to keep my eye covered. What sort of approach should we take, if we walked up and acted friendly and he was working with Zach then he would kill us or attempt to, and I don't want to fight him. He's a good friend. Why is he in Russia? And whats with the sword...
"Okay, so the bartender saw him and said he is sleeping outside somewhere..." Alex said.
"Outside? It's snowing. Ser, when we see him make him warm and heal whatever the cold may have done to him."
Okay, would you like me to read his mind and tell you if he's here in a malicious fashion?
"If you're able to."
We walked to a building in the middle of the village-esque thing we were in and noticed an unconscious guy lying next to a building.
"Bunch of savages in this town." I said.
He is okay, I'll wake him up.
"No, wait, make sure he doesn't wake up. We're taking him back with us."
I pulled out my phone and told Mary to get clothes ready for him.
We went back with him, meeting Mary at the door.
I was still concerned.
He means no harm towards you. In fact he didn't know you were in Russia when he came. He is here for other reasons...
"Thanks Ser." My feelings weren't settled quite yet. "Wake him up."
Ramsey sprang up reaching to his side to find his sword wasn't there. We were surrounding him.
"Ramsey, what the fuck were you thinking sleeping outside in Russia?" Alex asked.
"Fucking hell, its warm in here." He said, still waking up.
"That's me. I got powers, erm, a demon inside me now. His name is Ser, and he's bad ass."
"What?" he asked.
"Remember that day when we heard the ghost story in BritLit?"
And we told him the rest of the story from there.
